Events Marketer Should Be Aware Of
For companies from all industries, events are that extra something. Every year, numerous conferences, exhibitions and meetups take place throughout Europe and especially in Germany. And there are more and more following. They offer space for exchanging thoughts, getting up-to-date and to expand the own network.
Here are three events Marketeers should be aware of in the next few months:
re:publica, May 8-10, 2017 in Berlin: Following the successful anniversary edition re:publica TEN in May 2016 with 8,000 visitors, 770 international speakers from 60 countries and a nearly 500 hour-long program, re:publica 2017 will be back to celebrate its eleventh anniversary next month in the capital city. At this venue, the most important representatives of digital culture will share their knowledge as well as their decision-making expertise and discuss the future of information society in the face of digitalization. On site: a diversified mix of activists, scientists, hackers, entrepreneurs, NGOs, journalists, bloggers along with experts in social media and marketing. Topics: the full spectrum of digital culture-related topics is cultivated including net politics, to technical innovations and further to culture and media, music, health and education.
One day, 20 sessions and 40 high-caliber speakers. The NKF SUMMIT wants to be a "start-up crash course for corporates" and is again dedicated to the question of how established companies and start-ups can best create synergies and benefit from each other. The aim is to help corporates to ensure their future viability in times of digital transformation. The second edition includes big names such as Daimler, L'Oréal and Rocket Internet.
Bits & Pretzels
Founded in 2014, Bits & Pretzels has quickly moved from the local Weisswurst breakfast for founders to the international, multi-day festival for founders, future entrepreneurs and investors. Under the motto "Founder for Founders", the Bits & Pretzels takes place in Munich's Wiesn. The idea: At the conference, entrepreneurs from all over the world meet with young founders to exchange experiences and discuss trends. This year’s event will be opened by entrepreneurs, entertainers and TV retiree Stefan Raab.
