Martin Martin

Martin Martin (born 1974) has been with SevenOne Media since 2002. In 2013 he won the Innovation Award from the Berufsverband Deutscher Markt- und Sozialforscher e.V. (Professional Association of German Market and Social Researchers e.V.) for the development of survey software for HbbTV. In addition to general media consumption, he researches, among other subjects, the influence of SVoD on TV.

Dominik Matyka

Dominik Matyka is the Chief Advisor of DMEXCO and is responsible in this capacity, among other things, for DMEXCO Strategy. He holds a doctorate in economics and is a passionate entrepreneur, successful founder and internationally connected venture capitalist. Matyka founded the data-driven native advertising platform plista, which operates in more than 20 countries. He served as CEO of plista until 2015. The company was acquired by WPP in 2013. Dominik has also been involved in the formation of several start-ups and is now an angel investor and advisor through u25 ventures as well as founder and partner of the institutional venture capital firm Cavalry Ventures.

Sandra Matz

Sandra Matz is working on her PhD at the University of Cambridge Psychometrics Centre in the field “Psychographic Marketing”. In cooperation with companies in Germany, Great Britain and the USA, she does research on how to use digital footprints (for example Facebook likes or Twitter tweets) to create psychological user profiles and consequently make digital marketing more customer-oriented and effective. Her findings are regularly addressed and discussed by renowned international media outlets like Die Welt, The Independent, The Washington Post, the BBC or the World Economic Forum. Sandra Matz received the Data IQ New Talent Award 2014 for her research on the topic “Psychographic Marketing” and was recognized as one of the 100 most influential people in “data-driven marketing” in both 2015 and 2016. Last year Sandra Matz joined the ranks of Pacific Standard Magazine’s ‘The 30 Top Thinkers Under 30‘, which recognizes the work of visionary young men and women in the social, political and economic sciences.

Matthias Mehner

Matthias Mehner is an expert for Chatbots and messenger platforms such as WhatsApp. After many years of experience working as a social media expert, in 2017 he began to focus solely on the topic of messenger communication. As a CMO and board member of the software specialist firm MessengerPeople he has gained an insight into over 2000 companies, campaigns and Chatbots. From this experience he developed new strategies, methods and guidelines for the successful use of messaging apps. Mehner also works as a lecturer at a number of different academic institutions, holding over 100 presentations and workshops a year. He also writes a weekly column for the online LEAD digital magazine. In the summer of 2019 Mehner published his first book “Messenger Marketing” with publishing house Springer Gabler Verlag.

Guido Modenbach

Guido Modenbach, born 1963, has been Managing Director of ProSiebenSat.1 marketer SevenOne Media GmbH since November 2010 where he is responsible for market intelligence. Prior to this, Modenbach was with Gruner + Jahr in Hamburg, most recently as Managing Director of Gruner + Jahr Media Sales. Guido was also previouly Managing Director Marketing at the TV marketer IP Deutschland and served in various management functions at the media agency Mindshare.

Tarek Müller

Tarek Müller is one of the co-founders and managing directors of ABOUT YOU which is among the fastest-expanding eCommerce start-ups in Europe. Müller has been developing digital business models for online retail for over ten years and is responsible for marketing and brands at ABOUT YOU. Hamburg-born Müller founded his first online shop at the age of 13. He subsequently built countless e-commerce models in various industries as a managing partner.

Prof. Ruedi Alexander Müller-Beyeler

With a Master of Science degree from ETH, Prof Müller-Beyeler began his professional life with a management career in the industrial sector. Then he moved to the brand and communications industry and became an entrepreneur. In addition to that he now teaches and continues to do research at the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) in Chur and at the Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH). Prof. Ruedi Alexander Müller-Beyeler manages projects for brands, design and communication in an increasingly digitalized world – as consultant, project partner, interim manager, member of the Board and university lecturer.
